The Orthopedic surgeons needed some financing for an intra-company transfer of ownership shares for their Surgery Center. And they needed it fast; for tax purposes it was favorable to close before year end. CMAC was pleased to (quickly) arrange this financing which closed in the nick of time on the last business day of December! Security for the financing came from excess equity in the doctors’ medical real estate. In modifying the real estate debt, we were able to improve the interest rate. A win-win.
