The group wanted to make buy-ins affordable for new members while minimizing tax consequences. CMAC developed a model that was self-perpetuating to serve the members into the future, while funding the buyout of retiring members at full price. In the process, CMAC restructured the financing, eliminating personal guarantees and reducing the interest rate by over 1.5%.
